Plain and simple.
The umbrella brand gives Theater Dortmund a central communication platform. For its publications, we chose a straightforward, simple design approach and in doing so set it apart intentionally from the season booklets’ artistic “collage”.

Brand design
We designed the theatre’s straightforward umbrella brand identity around its two traditional colours orange and black as the central distinctive feature. Combined with the visually restrained font Neue Haas Grotesk, they make for a tidy yet eye-catching look.


Mini season booklet
The season booklet’s cheque-card-sized “sibling” enjoys cult status at Theater Dormund. It contains the entire season calendar and is a popular giveaway among culturati.


Monthly programme
Each month, Theater Dortmund publishes a compact, fanfold programme overview for all five divisions. It contains information about the upcoming premieres and can be hung up (e. g. on fridges) to get an overview of the entire calendar.
