As the long-standing lead agency, we have taken the brand to the next level: With mastering water, the drainage specialist is ushering in a new era in the company’s history – even more relevant, even more emotional, even more international.
From ‘what’ to ‘why’
KESSEL stands for premium drainage technology made in Germany. Whether pumping station, backwater valves, grease trap or shower channel: until now, the products were clearly the focus of the entire brand communication. As part of the brand sharpening process, we have initiated a rethink.
We broadened the perspective from ‘WHAT does KESSEL produce?’ to ‘WHY do you as a company go the extra mile?’. The introduction of mastering water opened up new horizons: KESSEL can now talk about values, emotions and social issues that go far beyond the product level.
Strategy
Draining water, treating wastewater, protecting against backwater: KESSEL is an excellent master of the element in all its forms. This is summarised by the claim mastering water, which forms the basis of all future brand communication.
ISH 2025
The global player from Lenting used the opening of ISH 2025 to present its sharpened brand identity to the public for the first time. We designed the unusual stand concept and developed the internal and external communication measures for the launch.
